The Pan-Hispanic Ballad Project web site hosts several interrelated databases that provide students of this field with important tools:

• an exhaustive, critical bibliography of Pan-Hispanic Balladry;
• a large corpus of texts representative of all ballads documented worldwide since the 15th century;
• digitized reproductions of original oral performances and their musical notation; and
• cartographic display of the primary and secondary data.

The databases (bibliographic and textual) and the audio archive are currently operational.

The contents of this site change frequently. It is a reference source for research and educational use.
